the ceremony
Located in UBC Botanical Garden, Wharton Glade is a serene, intimate outdoor venue nestled among Douglas firs, surrounded by lush greenery and soft, filtered sunlight.
It’s about a 150m walk from the main entrance, along a mix of paved and forest trail.
Think woodland stroll, not hike… comfortable shoes and a light layer will definitely serve you well.
The ceremony will begin at 2:30 pm sharp.
You’re more than welcome to arrive early to wander the Gardens and soak it all in before we begin. It’s a beautiful space… enjoy it.
Paid parking is available by the Garden’s main entrance.
A covered backup space will be available, if needed... but let's all pray for a clear, sunny sky.
the reception
After the ceremony, please join us for a delicious, authentic Greek feast at Nostos Taverna in Kitsilano.
Expect shared plates, warm hospitality, and a dance floor that may or may not turn into a full Greek celebration.
We can’t wait to share incredible food, raise a glass, and celebrate with you.
Please note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can ensure everyone is well taken care of.
